Zoltan Vardy, Managing Director, CEE TV

Zoltan Vardy has more than fifteen years of international experience on the field of media and entertainment management, sales, marketing and business development. Since August 2007 he is the Chief Executing Officer of ProSiebenSat.1 Group’s Hungarian national commercial station, TV2. Since his nomination he has been dealing with the structural reshuffle and competitiveness enhancement of TV2 and other Hungarian ProSiebenSat.1 companions like Interaktív Ltd.

Earlier he worked as commercial director of TV2, in the last year in line with the position SBS Broadcasting’s vice-president for sales. He managed the structural re-organization of TV2’s commercial services, introduction of DSI spot-selling system, development of alternative and digital media lines, and - as a common effect of all of them - continuous and dynamic enhancement of the channel’s income.

Prior to joining TV2 Zoltan Vardy had leading positions in international companies like CBS Television (Los Angeles), Turner Broadcasting (London) and USA Today international (London). He is member of the European Group of Television Advertising (EGTA/ Brussel)

He made his studies at Cornell University, New York, with a BA graduation in 1992.
