Petr Dvořák, General Director of TV Nova Group Czech Republic

Petr Dvořák, 44, joined CME as the General Director of TV Nova after its acquisition by CME and closing of the transaction in May 2005. He is responsible for all TV NOVA activities in the Czech Republic, including broadcast operations, production, and internet. He also serves as a board member of TV MARKÍZA, a CME-owned station in Slovakia. Mr. Dvořák joined TV NOVA in 2002 after its acquisition by the largest Czech investment company PPF, and since 2003 he worked in the position of General Director of the station. 

Before entering TV NOVA, he worked as an executive board member of PPF responsible for media and banking acquisitions. 

Mr. Dvořák graduated in 1989 at the Czech Technical University in Prague and in 1999 he has been awarded an MBA at the University of Chicago.
